{"id":55,"date":"2011-12-05T18:04:14","date_gmt":"2011-12-05T18:04:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fastdruid.co.uk\/gt40\/?p=55"},"modified":"2011-12-05T18:04:14","modified_gmt":"2011-12-05T18:04:14","slug":"engine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/fastdruid.co.uk\/gt40\/2011\/12\/05\/engine\/","title":{"rendered":"Engine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I wasn&#8217;t planning on getting an engine quite so early in the build but I made a silly offer that was accepted.<\/p>\n<p>So I&#8217;m now the proud owner of a 90k 1991 Lexus\/Toyota <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/1UZ-FE#1UZ-FE\">1UZ-FE<\/a>, as standard power output is 191 kW (256 hp), torque of 353 N\u00b7m (260 ft\u00b7lbf).
