{"id":156,"date":"2014-07-30T18:21:49","date_gmt":"2014-07-30T18:21:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fastdruid.co.uk\/gt40\/?p=156"},"modified":"2014-07-30T18:21:49","modified_gmt":"2014-07-30T18:21:49","slug":"aircon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/fastdruid.co.uk\/gt40\/2014\/07\/30\/aircon\/","title":{"rendered":"Aircon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is going to be a nice sunny day car so IMO A\/C is essential, more so than heating (although I&#8217;m including heating for those brisk nice mornings etc).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">On a trip out to the USA I picked up an ID-255 &#8220;In dash&#8221; combined heater and A\/C evaporator from Nostalgic AC Parts &#8211;\u00a0http:\/\/nostalgicac.com\/evaporator-units\/indash-<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">evaporators\/id-255-heat-air-in-dash-evaporator-unit.html<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This needed somewhere to mount it so more welding.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/-Akd1FEfbG3c\/Uw3sfGKLl4I\/AAAAAAAAhAU\/On5uZGo2Qw0\/s800\/20140225_144739.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/-CIe2BvWg4sA\/Uw3sfB2CisI\/AAAAAAAAhAU\/T5tb7zYOfJs\/s800\/20140225_144528.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve changed my mind slightly about how I&#8217;m going to mount it though, I was going to bolt it in from both sides but that then means it&#8217;ll be impossible to remove\/replace without un-riveting the end panel.
